I've been asked more than once what makes Mordecai smile. There are somewhat meaner ways than this to answer that, but I guess I went for the more saccharine of options.
There's a tiny kitten in the house right now. At least 40% of the digital work on this was done with her climbing over my shoulders and trying to wrestle with my drawing hand. She was a source of much inspiration here (almost as much as she was a source of distraction).
