An early experiment with comic format I didn't end up sticking with. This helped me quite a bit in developing Rocky and Freckle's personalities, though. Rocky looks rather odd to me here. I think I didn't quite have a grasp on handling his expressions just yet when I drew this, but the theatric dialogue is quintessential Rocky. This would also be the first time I put Nina down on paper.
